Chattanooga Nonprofit Update

Beginning in 2019, we made a commitment to donate $100,000 to local nonprofit organizations and charities. Therefore, we felt it important to give you this April update. So far we have donated $31,949 with more donations pending! We have donated to Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, CCA, MaryEllen Locher Foundation, CHI Memorial Foundation, Humane Educational Society, Lula Lake Land Trust, Chattanooga Girls Choir, Hixson Middle School, Homeless Coalition, Neurofibromatosis Network, Kappa Delta, YMCA, Chambliss Center for Children, 4 Paws Pantry, Chattanooga Symphony & Opera, and Project Access!

The purpose of the Chambliss Center for Children is to preserve family unity and to help prevent the dependency, neglect, abuse, and delinquency of children by responding to the community’s childcare needs. We believe in that purpose and because one of our members has adopted through the organization, it holds a special place in our heart.

Another organization we are passionate about supporting is the American Heart Association and their Go Red for Women. 1 in 3 women will die from cardiovascular disease every year. Most importantly, for every woman that dies from heart disease, 80% of those deaths are preventable. It is our privilege to be a supporter of their organization.

PINK! was such a wonderful event for an even more amazing cause. The CHI Memorial Foundation does an amazing job every year with this event! We have all known someone who has passed away from breast cancer. Pink! proceeds are used to ensure the Breast Center at CHI Memorial has the latest equipment available and provides the highest quality care available to women in need.

Our team also has a special connection with the MaryEllen Locher Foundation as we have a member who knew her personally. We have also supported their scholarship foundation so far this year in our February closing donations. Consequently, it means the world to us that we can help sponsor a college scholarship to someone who has lost a parent, has a parent who is battling cancer, or has a parent who is a survivor. This organization has awarded over 475 scholarships totaling $792,000 over the past 16 years and we are happy to be just a small part of that legacy.

Habitat for Humanity

53503844_10218705480170827_1163585616345038848_nHabitat for Humanity is an incredible organization that many of you very passionately voted for. The Women Build Breakfast was an event that was perhaps one of the most riveting breakfasts we’ve ever attended. Providing homes is something we are obviously very passionate about. Helping other’s achieve that dream financially is our way of giving back to the industry we love so much!
Rescues on the Runway is always such a thrilling event to attend! The Humane Educational Society is a treasure to Chattanooga and does so much for our four-legged friends. A team member is a foster for HES as well as has adopted her fur baby there, so this organization is special to us all.

We are so excited to continue to give to the organizations that YOU ALL voted for! Thank you for helping us continue to give back to our community! If you know anyone looking to buy or sell their home please point them our way. Remember, for every home sold, another donation is made!
